kiki design
Kiki Design is a Copenhagen based interior design startup, whose focus is creating calm and thoughtful spaces that support everyday life.
Kiki Design’s goal is to work in close collaboration with their clients in order to help them create spaces that match the home owners’ needs, routine, and vision.
Typography, Color palette, and logo ideation
Kiki Design’s values reflect intentional design that focuses on functionality and longevity. Furthermore, they take inspiration from Scandinavian design, which adds simplicity to the two previously mentioned brand values.
Based on these values, I worked on developing the concept for the main and secondary logos. The idea was to create a logo that is simple, elegant, and professional, which is why I chose to focus on using the company’s name, symmetry, and circular/oval shapes while working on the concept.
The color palette needed to be simple and had to be build around two colors the owner wanted used (#9FB1BB and #996677). Based on these instructions, I chose to add a beige (#ECE5DB) to ground the palette, a dark blue (#02122F) to add elegance and contrast, and another shade of light blue (#B4C4D0) as an accent.
For the typography, we wanted to have a simple approach, with a type for titles, and one for body text. “Montserrat” was already in use, so I decided to keep it that way due to its readability and simplicity. “Dream Avenue”, which I have used for the logo, became the type for headlines and titles as well in order to keep consistency, as well as add a touch of elegance in the brand.

photo editing
During my time with Kiki Design, I also did photo editing for pictures that would be used in a potential presentation catalogue, and presentations for future clients, as well as in social media posts, specifically on FaceBook and Instagram.
The photo editing was done in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

video editing
I also edited videos with the purpose to be posted as reels on their social media accounts.
The edits I have done consisted in color grading, cutting, framing, and placing all the parts together for a seamless flow.
The software used for video editing was DaVinci Resolve.
Social media Posts
I also worked on designing some of their social media posts, as well as created templates for future use.
