ROLE
Graphic Design Intern
imp scandinavia
IMP Scandinavia is a Danish company providing medical software and equipment to measure every core vital sign continuously and non-invasively.
roadmap
My first task as an intern at IMP Scandinavia was to create a roadmap of their medical device and software.
The purpose for this roadmap was to create a visual representation of each part of the system and have a description of their function attached.
The roadmap was created using Adobe Illustrator.

flyer
To create the flyer, I was in charge of layout and photo editing.
I created the layout of the flyer in Adobe InDesign. I had to make sure that once printed the flyer will be able to be folded in two in the middle, which is why a very light grey line can be seen going through the middle of the two pages.
While I was provided with the photos I had to use in the design, they were not grade, so I used Lightroom Classic to color grade them.

Brochure
The brochure also required for multiple elements to come together: photos, icons, layout.
The photos were color graded in Lightroom Classic (some from the previous task).
The icons were created to match each section explaining the use of the device and system.
The icons were created in Adobe Illustrator.
The layout was created in Adobe InDesign.

icons
The icons, as mentioned above, were created using Adobe Illustrator.
They were used mainly in the brochure.
Besides the three icons I included here, I also created some of the classic icons such as mail, phone, website, address etc. in the company’s colors in order to create consistency. Some of the other icons I created can be seen in the brochure.

Animation
During my time at IMP Scandinavia, we also worked on developing a motion graphic with the purpose of showing how the device and software should work.
All the elements were created using Adobe Illustrator and were then animated through keyframe animation in After Effects.
However, the animation was not used in the end, due to a change in priorities at the time.
