Brand Manager
grow
Grow started as a youth organization in 2021 and has the goal to help young adults and teens figure out their way in life, as well as help them with the tools to manage their own well being and live a fuller life. They achieve this through workshops, structured learning and lectures. They specialize in being by the youth for the youth. It has since grown into a larger organization that that works as a larger safety net for young adults through membership and special programs that schools and learning institutes can apply for.
Compendium
My first task when I started working with GROW was to help create a compendium for their education program for well-being ambassadors.
I was in charge of creating illustrations and figures that would go along with the information in the compendium, as well as creating the layout.
I worked in close collaboration with both their brand manager at the time and with one of the coaches responsible for the education.
Both the illustrations and the layout were created based on the instructions I received from the people mentioned above.
To create the illustrations, I worked in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while the compendium was created using Adobe InDesign.
merchandise
The well-being ambassadors were set to receive a hoodie alongside their compendium at the end of their education, and I was in charge of creating the design that was to be placed on the hoodie. I received the text that had to be incorporated, but I had creative freedom for the rest of the design.
For the back of the hoodie, I created a tree that grows from the logo of the company, symbolizing the growth the new ambassadors had by taking this education.
For the front design I brought the theme of the tree through the leaf design to create an emblem.
The designs were created in Procreate.
Workbooks
I also worked on two additional digital workbooks.
One of the workbooks was related to the compendium mentioned above. I was in charge of the layout and I worked in close collaboration with the same coach responsible for the well-being ambassador education.
The second digital workbook was meant to be provided alongside an online course. I was in charge of the illustrations/figures present in the workbook, as well as the layout.
The illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator, while the workbooks were created using Adobe InDesign.
